A walk in the forest - skogspromenad

A walk in the woods. Quiet, still and a constant hollering of children finding mushroom, moss covered stones in troll shapes and - ?? What is this??

We saw the golden shining reflections from far away and made our way through the underwood.

Some kind of balloons??

Yes indeed, a whole bunch of balloons for Mother's day - which is in May... We also found the biggest mushrooms I have ever seen!! Is it edible? Poisonous? No idea, but it sure was impressive.

Det skall vara Anna att hitta konst och kreativa saker i skogen.... Slår vad om att någonstans står det en ballongförsäljare och gråter.... KRAM!

Hi! Glad to hear from you and delighted to find out we have more in common than cool hair and a pretty face. :-)

I am awed by how good your English is. It's one thing to be decently fluent when speaking, but to blog in another language is amazing! As close as I come is to drop in some Yiddish here and there, but only because I use those words anyhow. Here in NY near the city everyone uses some Yiddish phrases whether they're Jewish or not.

Looking forward to reading here, diving through your archives some, and getting to know a new blog friend. ~LA

Aren't walks in the woods in autumn just the best?? I think that's one of my favorite things to do - it just smells so amazing out there. And wow, check out those mushrooms!

Those balloons are an amazing find, so are the mushrooms. I always feel at such moments that I have to make study of mushrooms, which are edible and which not, the same with birds (No I don't mean which are edible but what are their names) when I'm walking in the woods, but when I get back in the city I forget, until the next walk. Hope you have a cosy evening knitting by the fire!
