Mad as a (fur)hatter!

This is your mad blogger, Anna of Helylle! I don't normally look like this, but a fur hat does things to you. Especially when made of orange rabbit fur. I have actually worn this, on extremely windy and harsh winter days it's a gift from God. And I kinda like the colour...
No arctic weather today, though. The first sample of snow is now vanishing all too quickly, alas. Please, let us have a white Christmas!!
This time of year it kills me to think about the rest of the country, covered in white. I wasn't born in the south of Sweden so winters to me are supposed to be colder, whiter and winter-ier. But come to think of it, most of you known readers are drenched in sunny summer weather, aren't you? Makes me feel a lot better!

You are the best Anna!! You make me grin from ear to ear!!

Do your girls get embarrassed when you wear that in public?

If it makes you feel any better, Christmas-time here in Sydney is usually broiling hot and everyone usually goes to the beach. Sydney Santa is a surfer-dude. There, I hope that makes you feel happier.

I love orange.

I love rabbit fur.

It is cold wet and cold again here in the mountains.

Here is the deal - I'll have ouzo, you have retsina and I promise we can meet in Greece one day!!

Ett sånt fint inlägg måste man ju bara kommentera på! Ser framför mig små oranga skuttande kaniner... Här har vi mycket snö nu,men den smälter snart bort :( Ha en fin dag, snart kommer du kunna använda din varma fina mössa!

What a GREAT colour hat!!
And, well, it's raining and cold here in Brisbane, Australia. Though not too cold, still t-shirt weather - but raining and storm this past week or more. (The worst storms we've had in 25 years.)
Keep well - hope you get some more cold, and snow. What fun.

Wow! That hat really is a gift from god....or hell depending on how you see it. I would say god but my daughters would say hell and probably ask me to go see a doctor or something....the silly-ness factor being way to high for them to endure! I think you are a very courageous person Anna!

It being made of rabit fur sort of makes me start thinking of the Simpsons episode where Mr Burns sings "See my west, see my west made of real gorilla chest" ....

Not meaning that you look like a gorilla of course...oh bother....now I really put my foot in it didn`t I?

Poof I`m gone!

Störtcool mössa! (oj nu lät jag kanske pubertal!) Här är det mycket snö. Vars är du född?? I norra Sverige?

Just dropping by again to look at you in your hat and share a smile with you.

P.S. That singer is Yael Naim (she's Israeli), her song was used the in the latest ads for Air Mac which is how I discovered her...funnily enough.

What a fabulous hat! You look fantastic. And your view from the window looks a lot like mine right now. No snow at all, and I'm in Minnesota! Oh, well. I'm crossing my fingers for a white Christmas, too.
