...an übersweet felted brooch!
Meet Bernice, my latest friend from Australia! Bernice can do things with her hair that make people jealous, the law of gravity doesn't apply to her. She is best friends with Valerie, a brooch that lives at Eleanor's. I know all this because it says so on the "adoptions papers" that came along. (Valerie and Bernice met on the school bus, by the way.)
Here she is! Thank you so much, Eleanor. I shall treasure and honour the Beautiful Bernice - and try my very best never to let her slip along into the washing machine. 
It took a gift to bring me in front of the mirror again. I have been avoiding it a bit, feeling a little shallow and self absorbed.

Oh! I just knew that Bernice would love Sweden...her hair looks better than ever. And look at you in your fantastic leggings and skirt! I've missed these mirror photos!!
P.S. Valerie sends her love and is relieved to see that those pre-flight drinks they had together before she boarded the plane didn't slow her down.
Valerie features in my latest post, she also asked me to explain to Bernice that her hair isn't quite as high as usual ( in the photo) because it's been raining and windy here for two days. She knew that Bernice would understand.
I covet Bernice's hair style...a lovely, teased bouffant. A PINK, lovely, teased bouffant. It is Perfection.
She is a wonderful companion for you, Anna. She has almost as much sass and style as you do. Almost.
FYI: You should never worry about seeming shallow or self-absorbed. We depend on your mirror photos. You are expected to show us daily what you're wearing. Okay? Inquiring minds want to know.
