Everyday riding my bike to and from work, I pass a really nice shop, a vintage shop interior design (not very cheap). It's called Just like the one, probably because that's what people say when they enter: Oh, just like the one we used to have when I was a little....
They dress the windows very elegantly in different colours.
Then I got a surprise. To promote an art exhibition called Sub Rosa the artists had placed a lot a pink cardboard animals along the bicycle path through the park. Very funny! (They were still there on my way home!)
Then I arrived at work. And slipped into a classroom where there's a large mirror and took an outfit photo clandestinely (a word I have never used - only read...not even heard uttered in real life. A great feeling!).
A dress which, according to a collegue, "doesn't do anything for one's figure". Oh, yes, it makes it a little broader, doesn't it?

This is the best post ever!!!!
While other bloggers (maybe me...hmmm) feel self-conscious about photographing themselves you just go for it...and you do it clandestinely...and then post it for the world to see, hehehe.
You are fabulous. I really feel like I rode to work with you. Maybe I sat in on one of your classes and learnt a bit of Swedish...yes...and you introduced me to your colleagues and I had a cup of tea in the staff-room. It was a great day. And how awesome are those bunnies!
Thanks Anna, you are an inspiration.
I have dozens of such dresses. Not in pattern but in cut -
my mother will whisper "that dress does NOTHING for you," but I love them.
Yours is lovely.
I enjoyed this so much - this glimpse into your world - it reminded me of dear friends in Holland who cycle to work - just lovely
The green rose is very fetching.
Hej Anna!
Idag kom det fina förklädet med posten! TACK!
Jeanette
How nice to ride to work on your bike, seeing so many wonderful shops and surprises along the way!
I enjoyed your clandestine photography...you looked adorable.
Clandestinely...I plan to use that word one of these days in your honor!
This post is so delicious. Those colour-themed windows, and little cardboard bunnies.
And you, at work, in another glorious self-confident outfit. I thought, when I saw the picture, before I read what your collegue said about the dress - that Tim Gunn (from Project Runway and Guide to Style) would say something like that about your dress. Then he'd put you in something grey or beige that clings to your waist, and doesn't look at all like you. I think the dress flatters your personality - and isn't that more fun. Great combination of blue/green hues. Love it!
